Siapa tak kenal film "The Lord of the Rings?" Seperti diketahui, lokasi
syuting film tersebut berada di Selandia Baru. Letak Shire sendiri
berada di 501 Buckland Road, Hinuera, Matamata, Auckland. Perkampungan
kaum Hobbit yang indah dan asri merupakan hasil reka imajinasi Tolkien.
Salah satu tipe rumah Hobbit yang bisa kita lihat luar dan dalam dalam
film ini adalah rumahnya Frodo dan Bilbo Baggins. Di film itu, rumah
ciri khas kaum Hobbits yang berupa lubang-lubang di tanah ini terlihat
sangat nyaman dan hangat selayaknya rumah manusia pada umumnya.
Nah, sekarang saya lagi berada di New Zealand-nya Indonesia. Tepatnya berada di daerah Lembang, Bandung, tempat ini menjadi favorit bagi mereka yang menyukai alam dari New Zealand. Semua orang yang datang kesini ingin merasakan berada di negeri-nya The Hobbit tersebut dengan bentuk rumah yang imut dan kecil.
